Climate action in schools

EngineeringUK has launched the Climate Schools Programme. This provides teachers in state-funded secondary schools with the resources, knowledge and confidence to address climate change and help students to both explore solutions and discover how engineering and technology are key.

The programme will be piloted from January to July 2024 to understand the feasibility of a teacher-led programme to link climate education across the curriculum (starting with science, geography and English).
